PRIORITIES OF A BUDDY

A BUDDY SHOULD:

Protect the MLMM athlete at all times.
Step in front of the MLMM athlete for protection when a hard hitter is up to bat.
Be of good spirit, enthusiasm, love, attitude, and concern in motivating the athletes and their families.
Become a friend. Get to know the athletes and their families.
Arrive at the field 20-30 minutes prior to game time, and notify the coach of the team you are assigned to if you are unable to attend a game.
Be properly dressed and with a designated Buddy t-shirt.
Refrain from use of cell phone while in the company of the assigned MLMM athlete.
Demonstrate high morals and integrity on and off the field.
